Tent Mission - Opening Night Monday 11th Sept.

The wet weather did not dampen the spirits of either the workers or the boys and girls as over 200 children were in attendance for the opening night of the mission.

A fleet of buses and minibuses ferried the children from various areas of Coleraine and the surrounding district. Others were brought to the tent in cars by their parents.

The meeting was led by Colin Tinsely and included chorus singing, a quiz and Scripture memorisation. Colin then told the story of Joseph from the Bible and reminded the children that as a young man God was with Joseph even when times were difficult.

He then emphasised the need to accept Christ as Saviour if they wanted their sins forgiven and be assured of a place in Heaven.

As well as the remaining nights of the mission Colin will also be visiting many of the local schools and taking part in assemblies.
