Tent Mission - Family Night Sunday 17th Sept.

Over 300 children and parents were in attendance at the special family night in the tent.

Mr Colin Tinsley was again in charge of the meeting and led the assembled crowd in hymn and chorus singing prior to his message on the story of Abraham and Isaac. The children listened intently as he descibed how the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, became our substitute when He died on the Cross. The message was indeed a challenge to young and old alike.

At the end of the service each child who had attended the mission was presented with a Bible to commemorate this special children’s outreach.

Sunday School superintendent, Trevor Wylie, said; “We are grateful to the many parents who sent their children along to the tent; without their support the mission simply would not have happened. We are also indebted to Colin Tinsley for taking the meetings and to the band of workers who helped out in so many ways.”

We are grateful to the Lord for those who professed faith in Christ as a result of these meetings and rejoice in the faithful sowing of the Word of God in the hearts of the children.

"He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." Psalms 126:6
